CircleForest Ltd. & Renewable Energy Resources International and its partners are currently engaged in the scoping and screening of potential REDD projects throughout the Congo Basin. Due to the nature of deforestation drivers in the Congo Basin, alternative energy projects are also highly desirable. Understanding forest conditions and drivers of deforestation are key for building a case for new project investment.

To date, Forest Carbon has undertaken additionality and feasibility assessments for several logging and mining concessions for this initiative.
